Trust Your Senses: Look, Smell and Taste
Your trusty senses are your secret weapons when it comes to food safety:
Look: Sure, appearances can be deceiving, but sometimes your gut feeling can be your best guide. If your pasta looks a bit sketchy, don't take the risk.
Smell: Give your food a sniff test. If it's giving off a funky, nasty odor, it's waving a red flag saying, "I'm bad, don't eat me!" Your nose knows what's up.
Taste: f your meal passes the look and sniff tests, go ahead and take a tiny taste. If it's off, funky, or just plain weird on your taste buds, don't go any further.
More often than not, you’ll find that products past their Best Before Date, if well preserved, are pretty much always good to go!
