Training and awareness
We deliver different types of training and awareness sessions according to our audience. Our role is to inspire and provide employees with the right tools to learn and take action in their own way.
We want to reconnect employees to their mission: to feed people. We first make them feel why it’s important and beneficial for all of us to fight against food waste. Once convinced, we give them the tools to see where food waste is coming from in their company and how they can act to reduce it. We want the movement to be bottom-up and employees to be engaged and feel that they are making a difference. We also organize on-site visits for employees to the NGOs’ premises to interact with beneficiaries and see what impact they are having.
We see food redistribution not as a handout but as a way to feed the soul and empower the beneficiaries we help. We also see it as a way for NGOs to gain efficiency and save on cost. The training we provide to NGOs is not only crucial to help them handle the food safely but to also support them in making sure that the food donated achieves a greater purpose. Whether in reducing absenteeism at school, attracting beneficiaries for various activities or in reducing employee stress related to fundraising and food sourcing, food donations can have a sustainable impact.
