Food and poverty are intrinsically linked. With our nutrition programme, we want to give kids the tools to become the changemakers of tomorrow. Through a 6-week programme, using games, problem-solving, and teamwork, we give children the tools they need to understand the role that food plays in their lives and our country’s socio-economic development. The sessions, given to 8- to 18-year-old students, are practical and take into account the disadvantaged background of those children, whose primary needs are not always met. Food waste education awareness comes in to give them creative ways to nourish themselves at a cheaper cost.
